Air Traffic Management (ATM) represents a domain of emerging, and in general challenging,applications of MINLP. Among these, aircraft confict avoidance in en-route flights, and conflict free aircraft trajectory planning, constitute prominent examples. In this talk we discuss modeling issues and solution techniques from MINLP. Numerical results validate the proposed approach.
